Women in School Leadership:

Empowerment, Professional Learning, and Networking Sessions

The CAPSS’ Women in Leadership Committee, in partnership with Neag School of Education’s Professors Laura Burton and Jennie Weiner, will continue offering a seminar series during the 2019-2020 academic year focused on the experiences, triumphs, and tribulations of female superintendents, assistant superintendents and any other district-level administrators or aspiring administrators who are interested in attending.  All are welcome!

The purpose of these sessions is to bring focus and voice to the special and unique experiences of women in educational leadership, network with women leaders across Connecticut, learn skills and strategies to enhance effectiveness as a female leader and enlighten others around these issues.

This year’s sessions will center around the book, Reset: My Fight for Inclusion and Lasting Change by Ellen Pao.Buy it, read it. Join us!
