Did you know that TRB changed its offerings for health insurance in 2018 from a self-insured Medicare Supplement plan to a “base” Medicare Advantage Plan and a “buy up” Medicare Supplement plan? Providing you with information about the changes in your health insurance offered by the Teachers’ Retirement Board, you will learn the difference between a Supplement plan and an Advantage Plan in terms of pricing, co-pays, restrictions and protections. We will also share with you the legislative steps and other corrective measures that RTHA is working on to ensure that the TRB is transparent and represents our interests as teachers and administrators; and why your support is needed.
