Our world is changing exponentially, and so must our system of educating students. There is a great demand for districts to transform teaching, learning, and leading, creating schools that are more dynamic, authentic, and personalized. The purpose of this series is to provide future-focused educators with rich resources, thoughtful dialogue, and differentiated support as they engage in making the shifts in schools that job markets demand. Through this series, a journal of insights and recommendations will be published that includes content from these sessions and the insights of Connecticut's thought leaders in education who participate in this dialogue.

Session 1: Transform Teaching, Learning, and Leading
Through highly interactive learning experiences, participants will concentrate on projections about Connecticut's future world of work; engage in thoughtful dialogue about education's readiness to embrace transformations in teaching, leading, and learning; and focus on transversal competencies that support work done on Portrait of a Graduate.

Session 2: Build a Culture Where Innovation Flourishes
This collaborative session guides participants to a deeper awareness about the human and social dimensions of change. Participants will examine the following topics: building a culture of trust; reexamining the traditional hierarchy; developing everyone, everyday; and embracing awareness-based change. Through a simulation, participants will experience levels of awareness that ensure future-focused innovation.

Session 3: Create a Framework to Guide a Successful District Future
During the final session, resources will be provided to support the differentiated approaches each district is pursuing as they work to ensure a more future-focused path to teaching, learning, and leading. Each district will meet with their own members to determine their possible next steps. They will engage in a process of observing, reflecting, and acting, and learn strategies for inspiring all stakeholders toward a common vision. Ultimately, each district will create a framework outlining their direction.
