Ridgefield Public Schools invites outstanding educational leaders to apply for the position of Assistant Superintendent for Special Services. Executive Search Services of Cooperative Educational Services (C.E.S.) is now accepting applications on behalf of the Ridgefield Board of Education. The Assistant Superintendent of Special Services is a critical executive leader position for the Ridgefield Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the school district’s improvement efforts as they relate to strengthening relationships with the parent community, improving curriculum, instruction, assessment, developing intervention protocols through the use of teaming structures and data driven decision making, and improving accountability and trust within the special education and related service delivery model. The Board of Education is prepared to offer a highly competitive salary to the candidate best suited to take on the responsibilities of the position and deliver consistent, high levels of services to Ridgefield students and their families. The Assistant Superintendent of Special Services will lead the implementation of a revised support structure that includes a K-12 Assistant Director of Special Education, a .6 FTE District-wide Coordinating Psychologist, and .4FTE Department Chair models at the middle school and high school level to strengthen the capacity of the building-based leadership teams to drive continuous improvement for all students. View the brochure to learn more about the position and Ridgefield Public Schools.
