Dr. Salvatore F. Menzo received his MA, 6th Year Diploma, Executive Leadership Program Certificate, and Ed.D. in educational leadership from the Neag School, and a BA from Connecticut College.
Dr. Menzo started his career as a teacher in Windham, Connecticut. He went on to be assistant principal and then principal of Silas Deane Middle School in Wethersfield.
In 2005, Dr. Menzo became Superintendent of the Marlborough Public School District. He is now entering his seventh year as superintendent of the Wallingford Public School District.
Over the last six years, he has focused on developing and implementing strategic plans that guide all progress in Wallingford. He is proud of that work with the Board of Education and looks forward to leading the district towards a full mastery-based learning system in the fall of 2017.
