Since 1972, Project Oceanology, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has fostered ocean literacy through hands-on education, scientific research, and community outreach. We offer immersive learning experiences for students of all ages aboard our research vessel, along the Long Island Sound watershed, in our labs, and in classrooms across Connecticut. Our Certified Educators and Marine Scientists provide lessons aligned with Next Generation Science Standards, customized to meet your students' needs. By combining education with innovation, we aim to inspire the next generation of marine scientists and environmental stewards.
